Banned Before Publication?

Here's Andrew Shaffer blogging on Huffington Post about a book that's been banned before the author has even finished writing it. Nice trick, that. Seems Henderson Jr. High in Stephenville, Texas, is taking no chances with the final volumes in Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy Series. They're banning all of them, including the ones that haven't been published yet.

I hope this controversy will help Mead sell many more copies of the books.
