Boy a Norton Finalist

Now it can be told. Last week I had a phone call from Madelyn Robbins of the Science Fiction Writer's of America. The Boy From Ilysies is on the final ballot for SFWA's André Norton Award for Excellence in Young Adult Fantasy and Science Fiction. She needed to know if I was willing to be a finalist.

I said yes.

SQUEEEEEEE!!!!!

This is super cool, and a great honor. My sincere thanks to everyone who nominated Boy.

The award will be announced at the Nebula Awards Weekend in Washington D.C., May 19-22.

Voting, open to SFWA members, begins on March 1.
